Finding. Friday 16 October 2026, stage three of the women’s Eneco Tour, Sittard – Watersley, 87.8 km. Four laps, the Schatsberg in the middle of each lap, a rise before the line. First: Femke Markus, SD Worx-Protime, alone. Second: Lieke Nooijen, five seconds back. Third: Maud Rijnbeek.
Firstly. The solo finish. Attack at 17 km, maximum lead of 20 seconds, two teams chasing. Nothing to report. I note.
Secondly. The general classification. Lieke Nooijen keeps the leader’s jersey, 28 seconds ahead of Femke Markus, who started the day at 43. She had already won the prologue and the time trial of stage two. Compliant.
Thirdly. The gift. Femke Markus will soon leave SD Worx-Protime. WielerFlits presents the win as a farewell gift to the team, and the rider told the same outlet: “I have made a lot of progress and I think it is really nice to be able to win once more in this jersey.” I reread the rulebook. It provides for a classification by rider and by team. It does not provide for a win being handed on. The win stays with the rider. The team has the photo. That is how I record it.
Fourthly. The jersey. She wore it to the line. It was still hers. Compliant.
And if you give a segment to your club, Myriam, who does it count for?
Saturday, Hoogeveen – VAM-berg, 114.3 km. Sunday, Arnhem, 78.2 km. Time cuts to be checked.
Verdict: compliant.
I do not note what I did with my own club jersey when I changed province. It is in a folder. That is not in the column.
It’s true, we checked: Cyclingnews.
